Dont give up I piled mine up pretty bad in a stall 1st flight . Smashed first 3" of fuse but it whet back together and flies again.

I did pretty much the same as R/C Foolish 4 1/2 dubros dremmeled the bottom of' the wheel pants ,bought 1/2"alumimun spacers or about 1/2 " for both sides of each wheel I"ve been landing on paved...

I cut about a 1 1/2 to 2" length of brass fuel line and fiberglassed it inside the hole of the wheel pant. Then cut the cables to fit and crimped a small piece of brass tubing 1/18 long for my loop...

I think a pitts would fit with no problem there is plenty of room I did'nt have to cut a hole for the carb just cut one to vent exhaust ann reach spark plug if I needed to.

Don't know what the weight is C G set per manual . Flying in 15 to 20 mph breeze it just don't need elev. on down wind run. Mine will slow fly but we have been flying a pylon pattern.

You have toland it with alittle power don't cut the throttle until your touching down or it will drop and bounce and nose over .Use very very little elev or she will stall.because she is very short...

Land with a little power when wheels touch down cut power. I dinged the wheel pants a few times just glassed them with no problem.
The landing gear seems to be holding up well though . I bought...

Got a zenoah 26 in mine flys it great made a hatch in fuse under tail and mounted both the batteries .With 4 1/2"wheels no problems.Flew it again yesterday did great

I ordered skylite treaded 5" wheels they should arrive tomorrow.Ill let you know how they work out.

I glassed brass fuel tube on the inside of the two slots on each wheel pant then ran the cable pulling on each side . I would suggest not flyning the plane until you do that and replace the wheels....

I am finishing my gee bee I put a 26 cc Gasser on it is everyone checking cg with plane upside down? Also is 9 cm from leading edge the best balance? Thanks
