Socom71 Make sure the radio dual rate switch is in the "high" position and set on 100%. Place the linkage in the holes which product the "High" rate throws. Flip the switch to "low" rates and change...

I fly the plane with the batteries hooked in series. In effect I am creating a 10 S 5000 mah battery. The flying time per set of batteries is 2 flights of appx. 7 minutes each.

I am running an E-Flight Power 110 Motor: Castel HV 85 speed control: 2 5S 5000 mah batteries. The batteries install on eather side of the gas tank area. CG is right on....

I have 7 flights on mine so far. Started to throw in some aerobatics and it handles them well. The biggest place I'm loosing paint is on the brackets for the wing struts. Guess I'll have to strip...

Just finished checking the CG. No weight needed to achieve 4.0" CG. Longer stand off's were needed to mount the Power 110 motor. They helped with the CG. Hope to finish the wiring tonight.

I finally got the batteries today for my Taylorcraft. The motor and speed control are installed. I installed the wing bracing last night. Looks like a maiden this weekend.

New motor and speed control should be at the LHS tomorrow. I'm still waiting on batteries.
I am leaning toward the system I saw in an earlier post. Magnetically held cowl and batteries...

I am just finishing the tail feathers on this bird. I have a Power 110 electric motor and HV-85 speed control coming in this weekend. Has anyone else electrified the Taylorcraft?
