RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

Anyone else got the OS 200 in theirs? What prop are you running? And what are you doing for a spinner. I have an 18x8 prop and that doesn't really work with a 2 1/2 inch spinner

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

Here you go, it is going to stick out the cowl a bit but I think the exhaust will fit in, or maybe a small hole of the end to poke through. no bigger than what is required for the carby on the G20.

Hi guys, just got back from the club the test flight went very well with the 200. The fuel consumption is good as the engine is quite powerful, all that is required is half throttle for take off....

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

OK the FG-20 is out and OS 200P on it's way in. I have spent too much time fixing and far too many dead stick landings to justify the FG-20 anymore! bit of a bummer really

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

All went very well today 2 clicks of right trim and 2 up with no cowl so I expect that it will be taken out when the cowl goes on. Flew very nicely, as expected not over powered with the FG-20 but...

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

How is everyone setting up their machine at the field. Seems to me the best way is through the glass pannel in the roof. Looks awkward to do it all through the door. Anyone come up with a good...

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

DKCLASS, as far as I'm aware it is gas compatible. Had the same thought you have had when I was converting my H9 Extra to gas and the DuBro bung didn't fit in the H9 tank. On further reading it did...

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

G'Day ya33a, I had a lot of trouble with my FG-20 to start with, it backfired, jumped the push rod a couple of times and generally gave me a head ache. But after a little bit of time and effort it is...

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

I have had my FG-20 for about a year now, running on 20:1 the whole time and it's going great guns. However I had a lot of trouble to start with, rockers jumping push rods faulty ignition and this...

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

ya33a, was there a reason you chose to mount your engine inverted? does it fit better that way?. The only reason I ask is because I was thinking of side mounting my FG-20 (don't really know why, that...

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

Zippi, just wondering if you have any prop figures from the DLE 30 for us. I have an OS 200p spinning an 18x8 APC wide prop, just wondering how the 30 compares as I'm thinking about replacing it?
