RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

Yes I had a Zenoah G-26ei on mine and I had to add if memory serves 14 ounces of weight on the firewall. I believe if you look in some earlier posts you will see some pictures I posted during my...

I can affirm that this engine plane combo is great. I am afraid the DLE-20 will not be enough power for this bird. It will definately fly the plane but I am telling you...

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

With a Zenoah G26ei and Hydramax batteries. Mine weighs 16+ pounds and that is with 14 ounces of lead on the nose.

The plane does not mind the weight. If flies gorgeous.

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

Oh I forgot. The 16.2 pounds was without the seat and pilot.

So I guess you could add a few ounces for fuel and pilot and seat. It does not matter as the plane flies great.

Couple of questions.

2. Where are you selling yours and do you sell the whole plane or do you seperate it out item by item?

The reason I ask is...

RE: It's here and Looks GOOD new Hangar 9 Taylorcraft

DS821 servos only cost about 25.00 a piece. I used DS821's for all of my channels including throttle. What I can attest to you is this after using both analog and digitals servos.

1. Analogs work...

Why not set your control rods for the ailerons as required then solder them on the ends or use the back-up nut with some lock-tite?
