Does it remove condensed water from the compressed air(water separator,accumulator).

Could it be a pre-heater for the fuel and hydraulic fluid for high altitude flying? Temps get quite chilly up there.

Surprising more US fighters didn't carry 20mm cannons.Would have made those gun camera films that much better...lol.

On a funny note...If you mention the Apache to a lot of people they give you a confused look.Many don't know the Mustang was called an Apache at one time.I too had wondered why P-47s weren't used...

I will guess maybe an A-6 Intruder. I'm not sure if this plane is retired yet but definately an air to ground attacker! I will say he/she used a sparrow missle.

I beleive the Corsair had landing gear issues in the beginning with the seals failing and pilots had a hard time landing on carriers due to not being able to see over the nose.After pilots learned to...
