The landing gear seems to be substantially higher than that of Simla, I suppose for higher AOA on landings. I wonder if Ed put a protective tailskid (made from wire) under Simla's rudder.

Has anyone checked with AMA HQ? They should have kept records for sanctioned events since their conceptions.
