Duane, check out 8130's Blue Angel thread, as he used LustreKote. Lots of good info in there. For my Perigee (the wing is fabric covered), I used an automotive grey primer from a rattle can to fill...

The fin looks to be far too thick when compared to the original in the pic. Nice job though, can't wait to get my mitts on one!

Here's a couple of pics of a Taurus fuselage from a Top Flite kit and it doesn't use plywood doublers. The previous builder changed the build from balsa to ply.
