nearly 1 Liter
I have installed a 1 Liter Coke-PET-Bottle.
Some uses 1,5 Liter Platypus plastic.bag-tank.
But I want to keep it light, even I would have only 3 minutes flight-time, but I want to handstart (or lay it on the ground and speed up till it is in the air ;-)
Dry weight is 3360 gramms
Maiden with K70 hopefully next month because of bad weather in my local area

Iīll just wait and see, if its ultimately not available, Iīll probably go for a PAF Sting for some good old school building experience.
But I keep up hope, itīs just a hobby and there will be certainly some updates in the future from Pirotti.
Don't despair guys!

Got a reply from Mauro,
Berto.
- Thanks for your attention Berto.
- In effect many problems in the same time caused a lack of care to our customers.
- Now all the trouble are fixed and we have restart the delivery of open orders.
- New production is well running
- I will publish something for clarification.
- Best regards
- Mauro
Berto.

Thats great Berto!
The really bad thing that Mauro has done was to stop posting anything for so very very long a time. That causes all the waiting customers to worry needlessly (I hope). Very poor business practice to go incommunicado for so long. I have sent emails and PMed on FaceBook too without any answer. I too paid the full amount in September and the payment was acknowledged by Mauro, but then no contact at all. While I still want the plane I am very disappointed in Pirotti Models as a company.

Did you try to reach him via facebook ?
Maybe wait for the formal communication mentioned upper, we might have interesting information and better understanding of what's going on.

Mauro has been a great salesman to me.
i bought from him all his rebel hott prototypes , a rebel pro and a normal rebel.
all went fine .
i also placed and paid future orders with him and i feel confident they they are going to be delivered.
was he a little to optimistic? yes i agree , since he told everyone the same delivery dates.
i think with all the orders he has gotten , and a production problem in the start that all is overwhelming .
i can just guess how many emails he has gotten in this time..
if you really want this model , i would suggest you all wait.
i have never flown such a easy model as the hott , it is wearth the waiting i promisse you.
i ssuggest everyone just hold on , and await the final model.
i know Mauro personally and all his staff , friends and other companys that he works with.
as a critical note i would indeed suggest to him to get a spokes person to him that deals with all the orders and fill in your.questions.
and make a Q&A about the status,
silence is indeed not good and it awakens the "zero post" people that are eager to comment here....

order canceled
my order was now canceled and Mauro transfered the deposit back.
Strange comment in his last E-Mail to me: " Your model was arrived some weeks ago ....."
Nevertheless even if it is a very good plane, the way of handling the customers is not ok.

this is exactly why i will not purchase any model outside the country until it hits the dealer here for inventory and sale.. supporting local biz and avoiding long delays while my funds are tied up so they can take all the time they like to deliver the product.
yes great detail to workmanship and wonderful jets out there to those who can wait a season or two for it to get in the air after being announced in production
i dont mind ordering from overseas if the jet is in stock at a dealer and ready to ship as i have done from ripmax before.
