Welcome to Club SAITO !
No matter how slow, at this point it won't pack up and leave on it's own. In socialist medicine countries you usually do not have the option of removal. The common treatment in that case is chemical castration.
I had a total blockage that resulted in a roller coaster 107 f temp for two days and Sepsis. Was very close to buying the farm.
Played "wait and watch" just a little too long. IfI had it all to do again, I would have had the surgery as soon as I knew about it. The Prostate is sitting right up against bone.

Thanks so much for your concerns and prayers, they are much appreciated. I am maintaining my usual calm. Dr. Szlyk says we'll come up with a plan on Feb. the 8th. I am getting tests tomorrow for about 4 hours. My plan is to finish the Robin 25 and the Rascal 110, busy is good. Geri is having a carpal tunnel fix today and a compressed nerve in her elbow also fixed.
Though one does have to wonder about those women who died from prostate cancer.....
Interesting Statistic, in the US a person passes every 15 seconds. Daily death count on average is 7800. There is actually a death clock that counts up the number of deaths a year. Morbid, eh?

Well gentleman I have an announcement to make, I got a call from my 9 year old grandson in Kansas last night. He went to a joint EAA/AMA event for kids a while back and yesterday he got a youth membership card from both organizations. He figures now that he has an AMA card he can come down when it warms up and go flying airplanes with grandpa. I think it would be appropriate for him to spend part his summer with us so I can teach him the finer things in the hobby like Saito appreciation and how to to build his own airplanes. I'm tickle pink to have a grandson interested in this hobby! Speaking of pink I wonder how he would do on the Pink N Poke this Spring? Here's hoping COVID clears up so the local clubs can go back to having training days by then. I have just the kit for him for his first build a vintage Midwest AeroStar 40 and we can put a Saito on it.
Hey Bill it has arrived, a thousand thank you"s to you sir, you are a prince among men!

Congrats on the AMA card. That is about the same age as when my son bought and built his first kit. Flew it later that same year. He is now a Skilled Trades, Journeyman Metal Model Maker.
Covid didn't change a thing here. We had a very full flying season. The Wuhan Virus is here to stay.

Thank you! I was that age when I bought and built my first Comet kit (the gateway drug to C/L & R/C! ) and have been hooked ever since. Maybe Dylan will be the one to take up where I leave off?
Finished the dummy Radial for the 120R3
The cowl should be ready for the 2K clear this weekend, I want to be sure the latex is 100% dried before spraying it. Then I can install the radial baffle and get the engine final assembly done. The cowl ring needs to go on first so I can mount the engine without removing the pipes.

Thanks Jim, I actually still have a hew Fox two strokes, a brand new MERCO 40, a ST 4500, a ST 2300. All my four strokes are Saitos now, except for the rotary valve engine.
I had tests yesterday from 10:00 am until 4:05 pm, with breaks to let the radio dye soak in.

I have run both but never flown either, the 3000 and 4500 are not that hard on fuel because it is wise to prop them for sub 8,000 rpm. Above 8,000 they have been known to toss their circlips and that's bad. Both are excellent Diesel with the 4500 turning a 26 x 12 at 6,600 rpm on Davis fuel.

Thanks for the information, very helpful! I have a ST 3000 I got in a trade years ago but never ran it. I have a 1/4 scale Globe Swift short kit it would be about right to power it. I guess I just need to decide on a prop to keep it under 8000 RPM.
Can anyone tutorial me through posting a video to this site. Seems impossible. Won't upload from existing files or albums. Won't load or even attempt from video taken directly from the android phone after its own prompts to do so.
