Had a huge scare last night. Was going through my engine’s to decide what to build a plane around next and I couldn’t find the 120 dual plug that Dave sent me. Looked for an hour tell I found it in the box with the 120 fat head. Must have thought they would hook and get me a 220.

Saito 220 with Iron Bay regulator. John at Iron Bay wasn't sure that the regulator would flow enough fuel for the 220 but it can and did. It also worked well on the little 30.
Gary, did you get a bottle of anti gravity from Amazon to keep the fuel levitated in the inverted tank? Thanks
Thanks Pete, I discovered that if you set an engine up perfectly with the tank half full, then mount a Cline or Iron Bay regulator absolutely nothing will change. This, with the engine upright of course.

That would have been some mating. I had forgotten where that engine had gone, glad you found it.

I did figure out what to build though.
a 96” Kadet senior would make a great test bed for some 120-180 size engine’s. Need to look at what you guys have come up with for a universal quick change engine mount

You shouldn't need to change the mount to swap between a 120, 150 and 180. According to the link below the three engines only differ in height. The 125 is different enough that it probably would require a different mount, especially on a cowled plane.

Naw Dave, it has one of those inflatable bladders in the tank. Ok for test stand flyers but I would never put one on a plane again

I've seen a few ARFs equipped with regulators, most of those pilots say they find them useful due to bad tank location. I thought about trying one but haven't both mfgrs stopped producing them?

Not once had an ARF that didn't run fine without

I haven't needed one either but it would nice if my 3D planes didn't have to run way fat with a full tank so they don't over lean when at 1/4 tank or less. Right now I don't feel comfortable hovering and hucking close to the deck for the first few minutes, until the engine is running with maximum throttle response, somewhere between 3/8 and 5/8 full, then I hit the deck for a while. After that I move to higher speed maneuvers to help cool the engine while it begins leaning. I tune with a 1/2 full tank and never prime an inverted engine. I don't need to be able to prime but it would be nice if I could for the initial start up. Aren't the regulators supposed to help with that too?

Notice the glow plug- like connection on the side of the fuselage? The black is indeed ground, the white wire at the rear goes to the plug tip.
The 115 is a stellar engine. Sure wish they still made them. Like to buy two more!

Yes, a well designed, compact and efficient package. All from a company that specializes and manufactures advanced fuel system components.
Designed from the git- go as a model engine fuel system. They the put it on an extremely well engineered engine. Fuel air supplied at above atmospheric pressure and positive case venting , excellent lubrication system.
A nicer package and when you subtract the price of Iron Bay, not that bad a price either.

I had a laugh today, We were on our way home from camping today and stopped at a mexican restaurant for dinner. The seating had murals on every one and as we were sitting there I saw one where they were chopping the leaves off Agave plants. So I asked my daughter, what are those guys doing. She looked and said, Making Tequila. She's 14.

The site is in Australian, the URL tells me that and the shop address is in Lavington, New South Wales, Australia. If the price is $99 AUD it would exchange to about $ 68 USD. Gary one problem with this medium is that you can't read a persons face, just what they say, so it's easy to have a major case of misunderstanding the person, i may be suffering just that buddy
...i had you down as some self satisfied, smirking, loves the sound of his own voice public servant.
